NAME
trackerdctl -- trackerd(8) server control interface
SYNOPSIS
trackerdctl start | stop | restart | reload | config | configtest |
status | help
DESCRIPTION
trackerdctl is a frontend to trackerd(8). It is designed to control the
starting and stopping of the tracker in an easier manner.
The commands are as follows:
start
Starts the trackerd(8) daemon.
stop
Stops the trackerd(8) daemon.
restart
Restarts the trackerd(8) daemon.
reload
Tells the trackerd(8) daemon to reload its configuration by sending it
the signal HUP.
config
Prints the current active configuration.
configtest
Runs a configuration syntax test, to verify that the config file will
be accepted.
certificate
Generates a new OpenSSL certificate using req(1).
status
Prints a status summary.
help
Prints a quick command guide.
Additional argument flags passed with the start and restart commands are
passed directly to trackerd(8), in addition to the default flags. The
default flags can be set by opening wiredctl in any text editor and edit-
ing the variable TRACKERDFLAGS.
